“David Moberly and Mary Koeven of The Handwritten Past bring passion and enthusiasm to their work in family history. They were able to find some documentation indicating what happened to one of my ancestors during the American Civil War. We knew about the guy and that he was discharged, but had not been able to find anything about the circumstances surrounding it, and David and Mary were able to find the records that added more context and enriched the story surrounding his service. Great work that has enriched my understanding of where I am coming from!”
